Pushing the boundaries of APS-C imaging, the FUJIFILM X-H2 is a high-resolution mirrorless crop-sensor camera featuring a groundbreaking 40MP BSI sensor and an arsenal of cutting-edge features packed into a small and durable X-series body. The remarkable resolution allows for 2x digital zoom and has up to 13 stops of dynamic range.
Partner to the newly designed sensor is a fresh engine—the X-Processor 5—which uses 64-bit processing to realize 3x faster speeds for both video and photo tasks compared to the X-T4. On the video side, this enables recording at bit rates of up to 720 mb/s.
On the stills end, this quick processing means faster shooting to suit photographing moving subjects. When working with an electronic shutter, shooting at up to 20 fps is possible, with a buffer of 202 consecutive uncompressed raw frames. With the mechanical shutter, shooting speeds of up to 15 fps are possible, along with the ability to shoot upwards of 1000 raw frames in a single burst.

Benefitting both video and stills applications, this processing also benefits the sophisticated and AI-backed autofocus system, helps achieve a 14-stop dynamic range, and enables an enhanced sensitivity range from ISO 125-12800.

The Vanguard Alta Pro 2+ 263AT Aluminum Tripod supports up to 15.4 lb, measures 24.6" when folded, and can be positioned to a maximum height of 64" with its push-and-pull, rapid center column fully raised. Its 3-section legs each feature an independent 20°, 40°, 60°, or 80° spread as well as 35° twist locks for rapid adjustments. Non-slip, all-weather TPU grips on two of the legs provide a secure, comfortable grip while moving the tripod, and rubber feet enhance stability on a wide variety of surfaces. The center column has a hook for attaching a counterweight for even greater stability.

Tripod heads, cameras, lenses, or sport optics that are compatible with 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 male threads connect to the top of the tripod's stable, hexagonal, cross arm-type center column that can be positioned horizontally like a small boom in in 15° increments. Vanguard Alta BH-300 Ball Head
The Alta BH-300 Ball Head from Vanguard is a 1.3 lb Arca-type head that can support cameras that weigh up to 66.1 lb. Located inside the clamp is a safety pin that prevents the plate from sliding out if the clamp is partially opened. Moreover, the 4.6" tall head has three separate knobs to control it; the main locking knob governs the movement of the ball, the friction control knob adds or decreases drag on the ball per your comfort level, and the third knob enables the ball head to pan a full 360°.

A single-cut notch on the side allows a mounted camera to move in a 90° vertical angle. Mounting the ball head to a tripod is easily done via the 3/8"-16 thread, but a 1/4"-20 bushing adapter is included for those tripods with a smaller thread. Additionally, a QS-60 V2 Quick Shoe is also included with the ball head.

Vanguard Alta BH-100 Ball Head
The Vanguard Alta BH-100 is an Arca-type ball head that has a load capacity of 22.0 lb and can be attached to tripods or other support systems that feature a 3/8"-16 mount.

Cameras or accessories that are compatible with a 1/4"-20 mount can be connected to the included QS-60 V2 Quick Release Plate. The quick release plate can be attached or removed from the integrated clamp located at the top of the head's ball-and-socket joint by tightening or loosening the clamp's knurled, locking knob. Within the recessed surface between the clamp's jaws is a retaining pin. This pin prevents an installed QS-60 V2 Quick Release Plate from accidentally sliding off when the clamp is opened. The quick release plate features a rubberized, non-slip platform while two built-in bubble levels along the edges of the clamp accommodate landscape or portrait orientations.

By loosening the ball head's primary locking knob, the head's ball-and-socket joint can be quickly swiveled, angled, fully tilted, or returned to its upright position. Variable tension can be applied to the ball-and-socket joint's movements by rotating the friction knob located above the primary locking knob. Toward the side of the ball head opposite the primary locking knob is a secondary locking knob, which controls the ability to rotate the head 360°.

The large size of each pixel allows for more efficient light gathering, too, for smoother tonal and color transitions to produce a characteristic three-dimensional "medium format look." Also contributing to several medium format looks, a variety of traditional medium and large format aspect ratios can be used in addition to the standard 4:3, including 1:1, 65:24, 5:4, 7:6, 3:2, and 16:9.

The image processor and sensor also lend a versatile edge to the system, and permit shooting continuously up to 5 fps or for recording DCI and UHD 4K30 video.
UHD and DCI 4K Video Recording
Utilizing the large sensor size for more than just stills, the GFX 100S also offers an enticing array of video capabilities, including internal UHD and DCI 4K30p video recording at up 4:2:0 10-bit, as well as 4K30p 4:2:2 10-bit via HDMI output, both at up to 400 Mb/s-and simultaneous external and internal recording is possible. If working with an Atomos Ninja V, then UHD 4K30p raw 12-bit output is also possible using the Apple ProRes RAW format.

Greatly benefitting overall video performance, the speed of the quad-CPU X-Processor 4 enables fast read speeds when recording 4K video, which helps to reduce rolling shutter distortion when filming moving subjects.

Hybrid Autofocus System
The sensor's design also includes an expanded phase-detection autofocus system, which has 425 selectable points that cover nearly the entire sensor area.
