The 23" Professional Video Aluminum Alloy Motorized Camera Slider from GVM is a lightweight slider designed for video recording and time-lapse photography. Instead of using a hardwired controller, the 47" Wireless Carbon Fiber Motorized Camera Slider from GVM lets you manage and control the motorized motion via an iOS/Android app from your smartphone or tablet. Set A to B travel points and keyframed time-lapse sessions over a wireless Bluetooth connection, and capture smooth and professional-looking video and images. This belt-driven slider can be used in horizontal as well as tripod-mount inclined setups, with up to 11 lb cameras supported horizontally. A ball head is included with the slider so that you can easily adjust the tilt and swivel position of your camera. A bubble level is built into the slider carriage for checking your camera's balance.

The mobile app allows you to set the sliding speed from 1 to 100%. The app has two modes: manual and automatic. In manual mode, you can just control back and forth slides from the app, and in auto mode, you can assign specific travel points and round-trip motion. For time-lapse shots, six camera control cables are included that let you connect virtually all popular cameras from Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, and Sony.

The motor is positioned on one end of the slider and features a Sony L-series battery plate. An included NP-F750 battery provides up to 10 hours of operational runtime. The slider is made with carbon fiber rails, which allow for a lighter design than aluminum rails.

The 32" GVM Professional Video Carbon Fiber Motorized Camera Slider features an 11-pound load capacity as well as a 30" slider range along the carbon fiber rails, but that is just the tip of its capabilities. It has an attached controller that enables you to select and control the start/stop positions of the slider along the track, as well as selecting between video and still photo mode. The carbon fiber rail bed features an adjustable channel that allows you to shoot straight (perpendicular to the track rails) in a parabola to keep a subject centered as the camera tracks from side to side, or it can create a 120° panoramic camera move.

The height-adjustable feet are individually adjustable up to 0.79", allowing you to set up the slider on slightly uneven or non-level terrain, while three 1/4"-20 and three 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes enable tripod mounting. The slider is powered via a removable 4400mAh NP-F-type battery that will run the slider for about eight hours. An included ball joint head mounts on the slider carriage and allows you to orient your camera easily and hold its position as it moves along the track. Six different camera control cables are included, allowing the slider controller to interface with most cameras.

The slider supports up to 11 pounds when horizontal, and 5.5 pounds when set at a 30° incline.

Orientation
Adjusting the channel between the support rails allows you to adjust the position of your head on the slider as it moves between the ends of the slider track. The channel can be positioned so there is no movement during the slide. You can also set it so the camera shoots in a parabola to keep the subject centered during the move, or it pans the camera up to 120° to create a panoramic shot.
